Mint Lemonade
Recipe by ERIKA MEGAGIANNIIngredients
3/4 club soda
10 ml sugar water
30 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
10 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
35 fresh spearmint leaves
10 ml ginger syrup (packaged)
Ice
Preparation:
- Add the lime and lemon juice along with warm sugar water to a jug. While the mixture is still warm add the 35 spearmint leaves and stir for 3 minutes until they release their fragrance.
- Remove the leaves and reserve the remaining mixture. In a glass add ice, fill ¾ of the glass with soda, add the prepared mixture and top with the 10 ml ginger syrup. Stir the mocktail with a spoon.
- Serving suggestion-garnish: Lime slice and the peak of a spearmint stem.
- Serving glass: Large regular glass.
