We are a volunteer group of students looking for alternative ways of entertainment involving less alcohol consumption. We don’t want to feel obligated to adopt a lifestyle in which entertainment and alcohol are intertwined. We believe that we have the right to say “no” when we don’t want to drink, and we know that our true friends will respect it. Thus, in our site we suggest a number of recipes for delicious mocktails (alcohol-free cocktails) recommended by professional bartenders.
Nowadays, many people go to bars and have a great time by drinking non-alcoholic drinks or cocktails. Long gone are the days when you had to order juice, soft drinks, or soda water as a replacement for alcohol. If you can’t or don’t wish to drink alcohol, there is a huge variety of alcohol-free wines, liqueurs, beers, aperitivos etc. out there. A quick internet search will enlighten you.
Over years of research, there has been a general agreement in our findings; people who have a hard time controlling their anxiety or compare themselves to others due to their low self-esteem and self-confidence, are more likely to abuse alcohol. Consequently, we choose not to drink frequently and, when we do, we drink responsibly. We also choose to seek out for help to deal with our concerns. We have a great time without alcohol!

We wholeheartedly thank the group of students of the University of Western Attica for the initial idea of the site and their participation in our team, the professionals who willingly conceded their recipes and the photos of their mocktail suggestions, the volunteers who helped with the text translations in English and our volunteer photographer.
